Hello my friends,
I would be verry happy if someone would like to explain for me what I found on my addic.
There is a label on the inside where it is written: Joseph Guarnerius fecit Cremonae anno 17 (something, I can not see)
I bought a house for several years ago and when my family was getting bigger we deside to tare our old house down an build us a new one.
When I was working on the roof I saw a cottonbag in a corner and with a closer look I saw it was a violin in PERFECT condition, an old one I could see from the outside.
I took the violin and placed it in a closet.
But now I want to know more about it and ofcourse what it´s worth.
This is just for my knowledge.
Can you tell me more and maybe give me some more information where I should turn for more information.

Best regards Stefan Håkansson Sweden

maybe you take some pictures of the violin (showing the front, the back, the scroll and maybe the side) and post it here. then we can tell you more about your violin. without pictures that is difficult
