| Hi All, I would like ask you for indetification of Jean Baptiste Vuillaume viola. My family has since 1850 viole which I know that is made by Jean Baptiste Vuillaume, but I need confirmation and if it is possible to tell me what is the price of this unit is it valuable? Actually I have original case, viola and bow . I have more photos you can contact me on Skype: roman_angelov Best Regards

Sorry. I do not think JB Vuillaume had anything to do with this instrument. It looks most probably German, and relatively inexpensive.good luck. cheers Sean Bishop

When I saw the first photo (Back) it looked quite promising... but then I saw the front and I must say that I agree with Sean Bishop... I don't think it's a Vuillaume viola either.
Greetings!

Many Thanks for your opinion, in fact the front of the violin is not in good condition - the shine is lost and it's darker, my hope for indification was the v3.jpg and v4.jpg, the Vuillaume has a very specific particularies - for example the narrow bend, I compared with photos in the internet and it's same, but I respect your opinion, what you think for the bow and case?Is it same
