At this time, we're not allowed to post photos from the Francais archives now owned by the Smithsonian Institution. However, we are in the process of working out an agreement with them, and hope to be able to display more than a thousand instrument photos within the next few weeks. In the meantime, you can contact the Smithsonian Institution directly and ask for scans of any images in the collection. They do charge a fee for this service however.
