Hello,

I bought this instrument last week. What could it be ? I can't see a label but insite the violin it is very dusty.

Is it worth to restore it ?

Can someone help me ?

Thanks for reacting !

Wie Sie schon gemerkt haben, diese Forum hat eine standard Sprache, und das ist English... Ich weiss dass nicht alle English schreiben/lessen können, aber so sind die Regeln.

Unfortunately I don't see anything special in your violin. It seems to be a factory one (German - Markneukirchen). The crack needs to be repaired and is not gonna be cheap. Fingerboard has to be replaced, bridge, etc... You have to spend some money if you want to leave the violin in good conditions, after that, I'm not sure is gonna sound decent... It depends of what you want it for and how much are you able to spend for the restauration.
Greetings!
