Hi

  looks like you have your answer on this one ,an answer i cant dissaggree with,only to add that I have come across several F Caussins and caussin school over the years and some of them have played extremely well indeed, I hope it will be put back together now and get it back to what it should be doing ,  playing  !!!!!

Very, very interesting. The belly of that fiddle! wow! Thats really neat, I'm interested to see how it sounds.
It dosn't seem to need too much repair work, it could probably use a good cleaning, but I personally like the old dirt on my fiddles
