Appraisal Description
The Cozio Appraisal Service is a free service that enables Cozio members to submit one or more instruments online to auction experts for a confidential evaluation. Note that while the evaluation may indicate an estimated value for the instrument, it is not intended to be used as a formal appraisal for insurance or sale purposes. Rather, it is designed as a first step for instrument owners wishing to get more information about the age and origin of their instruments and their potential value. In general, the auction experts will need to examine the actual instrument before providing a detailed evaluation. The auction houses
are providing this informal evaluation free of charge based on the photos and other information that you provide. To use this service, you must agree that you are the legal owner of the instrument and that all information that you supply is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Note also that there is no guarantee that you will receive an evaluation. The experts may decline or be unable to evaluate your instrument for a variety of reasons. Cozio.com's only role in this service is to provide the technical platform for submitting instruments. We are not involved in the actual evaluations and we do not receive any fees or commissions from the auction houses.
